Christmas is coming!!! That means office will be closed in between Christmas and New Year and everyone will have up to 10 days off to take a break from any working routine and allowing our brain to switch off for a little while.
Everyone cannot wait for Christmas. Even some of my friends had already planned their Christmas one month before. We all excited for this. Most of the staff member and interns are planning to go back home and spend their Christmas break with family and friends. However, some of them including me are planning to spend our break travelling.
Before we all go on break, Company holds Christmas party for staff member and fill the kitchen full of chocolate and sweets free for everyone to eat. There are doughnuts, candy, cookies, chocolate, and cakes that we even can take home. Not only that, some of us also made some cookies and share it to everyone in the office. It was a really nice and sweet. I completely love the vibes
A few days approaching Christmas break, we don’t really have a lot of things to do, company has become really chill and everyone is on happy mode ready to welcome Christmas. Most of the task I do before Christmas are sending Christmas gift to our company partner, handling personal orders and tidying the office. We need to make sure our company partners get their Christmas gift, which the gift obviously some of our collection from main line (Preen by Thornton Bregazzi) to second line (Preen Line), also including our candle and phone cases. We also need to check all of personal orders are ready to ship before Christmas. And since the office will close for quite sometime and everyone wants to get a good and fresh vibes when they come back, we also need to tidy the office. However, all of the tasks are not difficult to do, like dealing with personal orders is much more relaxing than with the store order since the quantity is much less, and tidying the office is also not that bad as we do it altogether. Plus, since they tidying the office they throw a lot of fabric they don’t need and everyone are free to take it. So, all of the interns including me are busy taking the fabric. I can’t believe I end up took two bags of fabric at home.
Overall this week is very chill and relaxing, yet also enjoyable and fun.
